I love this conditioner, and the shampoo too! I have difficult treated black hair - fine, but thick. Most products for African Americans I've tried over the years either dry my hair out or weigh it down. This is the only shampoo/conditioner for black hair combo I've tried that moisturizes my hair without weighing it down. In fact, after 2 weeks my hair looks better than ever - shiny and full. I've been a diehard salon product user for 20 years, and this conditioner for relaxed hair has converted me.

I really liked this conditioner for African Americans, especially with the matching relaxed hair shampoo. At first I thought it was a little expensive, but after I tried it, it's definitely worth it. My hair hasn't looked or felt this goodfor a long time. I had a lot of build up so I use the build up remover shampoo first. My hair is also so easy to brush through after washing it and I have thick, highlighted hair which usually takes a while to detangle. The conditioner also smells really nice and my hair feels so smooth when I'm rinsing it off. This is my new favorite conditioner!!

Hair breakage, thinning, lack of growth, scalp irritation, damage and hair loss are just some of the complaints from many who experience problems due to chemical hair relaxers.
Sodium Hydroxide is the strongest chemical used in most relaxers because it provides dramatic long lasting effects. However, this is found in drain cleaners which demonstrate the strength of this chemical. It is in products that are referred to as lye relaxers.
Guanidine Hydroxide is the chemical used in what are called no-lye relaxers. This can be misleading to some because it is a very strong chemical that can damage your hair and scalp also.
The relaxer penetrates the inner layer of hair and loosens the natural curl pattern by breaking its structure. This inner layer of the hair gives curly hair its shape while providing strength and elasticity. The process of relaxing your hair to straighten it leaves hair weak and susceptible to breaking or further damage. Once hair is relaxed it is irreversible until it grows out.
Relaxers should never be applied to already damaged hair or scalp. A protective barrier such as a cream should always be applied to help protect the scalp so that no chemical product comes in contact with your scalp. This will help to prevent scalp burn and root damage.
If chemically straightened hair is not given special treatment it can become dry, damaged and begin breaking. If not repaired, it can lead to hair thinning and loss. Regular deep conditioning is a must.

Being an African American, I have always had problems finding a conditioner that works for me. I have to say this is a wonderful conditioner. I purchased it, and also the shampoo for relaxed hair, together the products worked miracles on my dried out hair. It actually makes my hair feel softer and smoother than the salon product I was using before.

This conditioner is now my "I can't live without it" product. This is an excellent conditioner. It's thick like a deep treatment, but you don't have to leave it on while you stand there in the shower and wait. I like that it is natural too.

Where has this been all my life? I did not even know that there was a shampoo for relaxed hair before! This thick, rich conditioner should've been on the market long before I wasted so much money trying to find "the one" to quench my parched, long, thick, locks. My hair is finally on its best behavior without the addition of tons of styling cream to tame the frizz. I can now enjoy shiny, tangle- free hair. The whole African American line is simply amazing and, for once, I've found products that actually live up to their promises. God Bless you JustNatural!!!

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! I have chemically processed hair and I've tried everything my hairdressers have recommended and NOTHING works better then this! I use the relaxed hair shampoo, hair serum, and this! Totally AWESOME conditioner!

I can't say enough about this conditioner! JN’s Conditioner is positively the best deep conditioner I have ever tried. It is definitely worth the full price... and then some! I have long, frizzy, dry, color treated hair and it is very difficult for me to detangle my hair after shampooing. Not to mention, my hair is so dry that, ordinarily, I have to plaster half a bottle of conditioner to my hair to relieve the dryness. But a little of this conditioner for relaxed hair goes a long way. It is the thickest conditioner I have ever seen, and the scent is very pleasing. This product leaves my black hair easy to detangle, amply moisturized, silky- soft, and restores the shine. The only thing I regret is not trying this product sooner!

This is the best black hair conditioner I've found for my thick, curly coarse hair. I've also used the relaxed shampoo. My hair is now unbelievably soft and not greasy at all. I'm done experimenting with conditioners- this is what I'll use from now on!
